The more dramatic aspects of D/s such as bondage and flogging, receive much well deserved attention at Rose & Thorn gatherings. What receives less attention is the subtle ways in which D/s can, and does express itself in the ordinary rituals of human interaction. Serving tea is neither an inherently Dominant act, nor submissive act. The "D/s" is in the presentation of the server. Doms seek to be in control. Subs seek to be pleasing. Join me for a delightful evening of socializing. You will have the opportunity to experience side by side Dominant tea service, and submissive tea service. After tea, there will be a dance. Partner dancing is an expression of Dominance and submission that is widely practiced even among vanillas. It is VERY easy. I will teach Doms who have always avoided the dance floor how to lead with confidence and poise. And subs who are unsure, I will show you how to follow with grace and charm. I know what its like to feel unsure on the dance floor. You may not be ready for the international ballroom dancing championship, but you won't ever feel embarrassed again in this ritual of Dominance and submission. This will be a couples only event.
