Policies on Guests and Partner Consent

CAN I BRING A GUEST?
We don't require screening for guests who are personally recommended by one of our regular members, although we must have a name, phone number, and e-mail address to contact the person. For our own protection we need to have contact information in case problems should arise. No one is allowed to bring uninvited guests to any event.

CAN I COME TO AN EVENT WITHOUT MY PARTNER/SPOUSE KNOWING?

Our policy is that every guest must have the consent of their partner/spouse to attend our events and we do verify this. There are several reasons for this policy. The primary one is that honesty and integrity are central to the BDSM creed of Safe, Sane, and Consensual, and cheating on your partner undermines this foundation. On the practical side an angry spouse can discover that the guest is not only cheating on them but is attending a BDSM event, which they may not understand or accept. There is a very serious risk of that person crashing our party and compromising the privacy of our guests. (nothing like a spurned lover!) Our commitment is to the privacy and safety of our guests.
